Baby Alpaca is produced from fibre gathered from the alpaca’s first fleece. The first fleece yields the finest fibres creating a luxurious, wonderfully soft, silky yarn.
Alpacas come in a range of colours – shades of white, brown, grey and even dark chocolate brown almost back. Segregating coloured fleeces prior to processing creates a natural coloured palette of Baby Alpaca yarns, which we use to full advantage in our Fair Isle pattern details.
This Baby Alpaca product range is produced from natural organic alpaca procured from high Andean pastors, free from artificial toxins from pasture land through to wearer.
